The architects Armin and Monika Peter live and work in Stäfa (canton of Zurich). Their first commercial projects as architects were for well-known general companies. There, they gained the skills required to design a range of commercial and technology facilities. They received their first commission back in 1987, as architects for Lloyds Bank. This was followed by architectural commissions for the Telekursgruppe, Swiss Life, Gebrüder Iseli AG, State Street Bank, Alcatel, Zürcher Kantonalbank, DHL Worldwide and Equinix, to name but a few.
On the basis of their experience in technology buildings, Armin and Monika Peter developed a specialization in building large data centers for national and international companies as early as the nineties. The architects have now built up a broad experience in designing and planning tenant extensions for major Swiss and international firms. Their enthusiasm for the latest technology and their eye for nature are characteristic of Armin and Monika Peter. Achieving environmentally sound energy management through the use of state of the art technology is not just empty words for these architects; it's the philosophy they live by. Armin and Monika Peter see parallels between the continual renewal of nature and the LakeShore ONE and TWO project in the creation of a structure whose construction can be altered at any time to suit current technical developments.
